Nature has never failed to surprise us by its beautiful,
and many pleasing facts. But other than being beautiful and pleasing, there are
some weird and unbelievable things about nature which we are really unaware of.
I am sure that everybody must have heard about “Bioluminescence” thing, which
makes the nature even more beautiful. Bioluminescence is a phenomenon in which
the light is produced by a chemical reaction within the living organism as in
some plants and animals. Bioluminescence organisms are usually the marine
creatures which are found in oceans and some are found on the land such as fungus,
fireflies etc. This phenomenon in plants and animals enables them to glow at
night which is even more mesmerizing to watch. Below are the few places in
India which glows at night and makes the place very special. I would really suggest
you people to visit once in your lifetime.
Mattu Beach (KARNATAKA)
Karnataka is one of the top tourist places in India. Infact coastal karnataka has many unexplored beaches which is an excellent place to relax. Mattu beach is quite famous in Karnataka state for its endless sea aside, stunning driving road at the center of swaying coconut tress. This place has a wonderful view at night as you can see the water bodies sparkling when disturbed.

West Jantia Hills (MEGHALAYA)
Don’t be surprised when someone says, there are Electric Mushrooms. These Electric Mushrooms glow at night when they undergo phenomenon called bioluminescence. Several years ago many Chinese and Indian scientists visited West Jaintia district in Meghalaya, after hearing about these weird species. They were asked to switch off their torch by local guides and they witnessed the real magic. And these Mushrooms are sometimes used for navigation in the forest by local people. After research, the test results, revealed that these Mushrooms are new species from genus Roridomyces.
